Kankobai Shuzo brews sake in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, a town with strong Spanish and Portuguese influences.
The product name "QUINCE" means "15" in Spanish.
The sake was named this because it is finished with an alcohol content of 15%.
It has a refreshing aroma reminiscent of a sweet and sour apple.
It offers a juicy umami flavor with a substantial body.
The moderate sweetness and subtle carbonation are irresistible.
~About Kankobai Shuzo~
The Province of Ise has been known as a rice-growing region since ancient times, developing a rich culture of sake brewing.
Since its founding in Ansei 1, Kankobai Shuzo has honed its sake brewing techniques in this region.
Kankobai's sake is brewed by hand using carefully selected rice and clear water.
Because most of the processes are done by hand, only a limited amount can be brewed each year.
For this reason, they pour their passion into every drop of sake.
We invite you to savor this flavor, nurtured by the blessings of the gods and human effort.
