A rare white wine made from red grapes

This is a white wine made from 100% Muscat Bailey A grapes grown in Yamagata Prefecture.
The sweet fruity aroma characteristic of the Bailey A variety and the deep nutty aroma gained from barrel fermentation create a magnificent harmony, resulting in a high-quality white wine.

Aromas of white flowers, vanilla, acerola, and blackcurrant.
It has a good balance of pure fruitiness and moderate acidity, with a juicy finish.
The lingering astringency of tannins adds depth to the flavor, making it a drier white wine than its aroma might suggest.

Instead of aging already fermented wine in barrels, fermenting the juice in barrels results in a softer aroma. Therefore, lightly pressed red grapes are fermented in barrels.
