The "W" in the brand name stands for three things: Watanabe Sake Brewery , World , and Warai .

W Kokuryoto has a calm impression reminiscent of the green scent of green bamboo, and a strong rice flavor and acidity .
It has a refreshing, crisp aftertaste.

The " W Series " is a Junmai Daiginjo sake made from rice polished to 50 %, but is labeled as Junmai sake.
This is because we do not believe that polishing the rice more finely or tinkering with numbers will bring us any closer to the essence of what the W Series is aiming for.
