Kyoeido 2025 Spring Release Sparkling Orange Wine

Koshu grapes harvested in September-October 2025 were made into juice and fermented mainly in medium and small barrels. Bottled around November, with secondary fermentation lasting about 4 months, followed by disgorgement from January to March.

A pale, slightly reddish amber color.
Fresh aromas of pear and apple rise with the carbonation, overlaid with the glamorous scent of pineapple and acacia. Faint nuances of yogurt and cinnamon can also be perceived, offering a complex and profound aroma.

In the mouth, the fine, firm effervescence spreads pleasantly, giving a lively impression yet a smooth texture. The mineral sensation reminiscent of limestone tightens the overall structure.
As the temperature rises, a soft aroma like boiled soybeans emerges, and this change in expression is one of its charms.
The pleasant stimulation of carbonation lingers in the aftertaste, with gentle notes of hazelnut, soybean, and ripe lemon.

It is recommended to enjoy well-chilled in a slender glass.

It pairs well with rich and voluminous dishes such as chickpea salad or nut-based pâtés. It also balances nicely with light snacks like nuts.

This is a bottle to be enjoyed with meals, with its interplay of effervescence and minerals.
