The company was jointly established in 1941 by 130 licensed wine brewers who were working hard on grape cultivation and wine brewing in Iwasaki, the birthplace of Koshu grapes .
They have a factory in Iwasaki, Katsunuma-cho, and work with farmers to stabilize grape cultivation, develop grape-producing areas, and improve the quality of wine. They are affectionately known locally as "Honjo." They always value the aroma of the local climate and strive to create unique wines that are well-liked in Katsunuma.
