Summer in Japan is hot! So, we wanted people to be able to enjoy Japanese sake comfortably from early summer to midsummer, so we created a low-alcohol sake that is sweet and sour with a beautiful aftertaste.
Brewed using Nagano yeast R, which produces a high amount of malic acid, and Yamadanishiki rice, it has a white wine-like flavor that can be enjoyed while eating.
A refreshing, sweet and sour fruity taste reminiscent of Muscat.
It is a drink to enjoy with meals, reminiscent of a Japanese-style white wine.
About Tsuchiya Sake Brewery Founded in 1900. The name of the sake comes from the phrase "Kame no Umi" (turtle, long life, sea), which means "truly auspicious," and was chosen with the hope that it would be served at joyous banquets.
Using underground water from the Chikuma River and sake rice from Sakudaira, we continue to brew mellow local sake in our historic wooden storehouse.
