[Domaine Oyamada Washuma Red 2021】

The concept is northern elegance.

Located in Senuma, Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture, vinifera is mixed in hedge cultivation.
At an altitude of approximately 700m, the area has many sunny days, low night temperatures, and is able to maintain acidity, making it the ideal land for growing grapes.

Since 2015, we have expanded the field to 30 acres, and we have newly blended young grapes of Cabernet Franc, Trousseau, and Mourvèdre for our black grapes.

The aroma is strong from the top, but there is also a calm acidity, giving a moist impression of coniferous forest and matsutake mushrooms after the rain.
As the red and black fruits slowly rise, the hard saltiness that melts in the mouth as it matures and the velvety tannins are well balanced, giving you a horse-washing feeling.
In the aftertaste, the aroma that comes through the nose is delicate, but it is packed with everything and the wine progresses.
