The key malt used in the blend is malt whiskey aged 7 years or more from Saburomaru Distillery .
In order to preserve the natural flavor, no coloring is added and no chill filtration is done.
This is a smoky, heavily peated whiskey with a strong sweetness and a gentle depth.

Near the Saburomaru Distillery is a place called " Junenmyo , " where rapeseed fields once served as a source of oil for lighting .
It was named Juunenmei with the hope that it would gently illuminate people's hearts like that light.
