“ W ” is a behind -the -scenes brand limited to exclusive stores that is popular in the sake industry.

Watanabe Sake Brewery's "W Series" is a limited-edition, made-to-order product brewed for carefully selected liquor stores that are responsible for the future of sake.
The “W” in the brand name represents three meanings: Watanabe, World, and Warai.

W (W) Dewa Sansan has a scent of pineapple and lychee.
When you put it in your mouth, the scent of flowers like acacia and violets tickles your nostrils.
A delicate sweetness reminiscent of Wasanbon and an acidity that spreads like fine ripples.
It has a very pleasant, clean and light taste with a fleeting aftertaste.

The “W Series” is a Junmai Daiginjo standard in which the rice is polished to 50%, but it is labeled as Junmai Sake.
This is because we do not believe that reducing the size of rice milling or playing around with numbers will bring us closer to the essence of what the W series is aiming for.
