Chateau Sakaori Katsunuma Koshu 2024 750ml
[Chateau Sakaori Katsunuma Koshu 2024]
A delicate and approachable orange wine
Orange wine made by female winemaker Hiromi Fujimoto.
We use only late-harvested Koshu grapes from Katsunuma.
Beautiful orange hue.
It has a spicy aroma of cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon, as well as a sweet scent reminiscent of ripe Japanese citrus fruits.
When you put it in your mouth, you can taste the moderate acidity and slight sweetness, as well as the fruity notes of loquat and apricot, and the texture of black tea, with just the right amount of astringency that spreads richly throughout your mouth.
Best drinking temperature: 10-12℃
Food pairings: Lu rou rice, braised pork, braised abalone, simmered hijiki seaweed
