This is a flagship wine from Grace Wine, which aims to spread Japan's representative grape variety, "Koshu," to the world.
As Japanese cuisine gains popularity overseas and Japan's unique climate attracts attention, this brand was introduced by British wine critic Jancis Robinson as a representative Japanese wine.
Koshu grapes grown at an altitude of 400m or more in the mountainous areas of Katsunuma are fermented and stored in stainless steel tanks.
Without intentionally employing sur lie aging or low-temperature fermentation, the winemakers carefully and respectfully craft the wine to preserve Koshu's inherent transparency, crispness, delicate fruit aroma, and distinctively elegant flavor.
A pale lemon-yellow with shimmering green and pink hues.
The aroma features refreshing citrus notes like Amanatsu and orange, alongside hints of apple, pear, acacia, and ripe white peach.
The attack reveals concentrated fruit from well-ripened grapes spreading across the palate, with a pleasant acidity that defines its structure, showcasing the vintage's excellence.
It harmonizes with rich flavors, followed by a supple persistence of umami with a subtle bitterness and acidity in the finish.
A well-balanced dry white wine, fusing rich fruit with a fresh and invigorating taste.
