Shunichi Haraguchi, the 4th generation head of Haraguchi Brewery , makes full use of tradition and modern technology to add some tin coil distilled liquor to bring out the scent of sweet potatoes and bring out the richness of this sake . It's potato shochu.
Benisatsuma and Benihigashi have a unique gorgeous scent, and it has a smooth yet sharp taste.

A manufacturing method from the Edo to Meiji eras in which koji, main ingredients ( potatoes and koji ) , and water are added at the same time.
(Currently, it is mainly brewed in two steps: the first preparation to activate the koji and the second preparation to make the mash by adding steamed potatoes. )
