This shochu is made by distilling the sake lees of Dassai sake on the same day they are peeled, to extract the alcoholic extract.
Due to the manufacturing method, the amount produced is not large, but the beautiful aroma of Dassai is trapped inside the shochu.
The high alcohol content of 39% is also to bring out the beautiful aroma at its best.
