"Haramo" is the name of the store, and it was named Haramo because it used to be called Hara in the old days, and because it had inherited the name of Mozaemon for generations.
Founded in 1924 , we cultivate 1.5 hectares of our own vineyard , 4 hectares of contracted vineyards with local farmers , and annual production of 50 kiloliters. We cultivate grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Merlot, and Yamasauvignon, centering on Koshu, a representative variety of Yamanashi.
* What is the Sur Lee Law?
It is a brewing method in which the fermented white wine is aged on the lees.
Usually, during the vinification process of white wine, racking is done immediately after fermentation.
Sur Li, on the other hand, is aged on the lees without lees, which extracts umami components such as amino acids and polysaccharides, giving the wine its yeast-derived flavor and umami.
This is why most of the wines made in sur lie are white wines with good taste.
