Koshu grapes from Katsunuma are aged on the lees for about 5 months using the sur lie method to create a dry white wine with a rich complex aroma of peach and mango.

``Harashige'' is a trade name, and it became Harashige because it was a place name called Hara in the past and because the name was inherited from Mozaemon for generations.
Founded in 1924 , we cultivate grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Merlot, and Yama Sauvignon, with a focus on Yamanashi's representative variety Koshu, with an annual production of 50 kiloliters on 1.5 hectares of our own fields and 4 hectares of contracted fields with local farmers.

* What is the Sur-Lie method?
This refers to a brewing method in which white wine is aged on the lees after fermentation.
Normally, during the winemaking process of white wine, the wine is racked immediately after fermentation.
However, by aging Sur Lies on the lees without lees, umami components such as amino acids and polysaccharides are extracted, giving wine the flavor and flavor derived from yeast.
This is why most wines made in sur-lie are tasty white wines.
