This plum wine is made with an emphasis on all Kishu ingredients.
First, fully ripe Nankou plums from Wakayama Prefecture are soaked in shochu to extract the full essence, which is then aged to create plum wine. This is then blended with the unblended liquor of Wakayama's famous sake, Kuroushi Junmai, and then aged again.
This is a delicious plum wine that is mellow and full-bodied, fully demonstrating the unique flavors of sake-based plum wine and has a wonderful balance of aroma and acidity in the aftertaste.
In particular, it is made with a focus on achieving the perfect "mellowness, extract, and sweetness" to be enjoyed on the rocks.
