Made with wild grapes that have grown on Mt. Amagi since ancient times, the "Amagi no Shizuku" (Drop of Amagi) hybrid variety created from Gyojanosui and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The color is a deep "koki-iro" (dark red) with a hint of indigo.
In contrast, it has a smooth mouthfeel, and just when you think it has imparted a bright and vibrant freshness throughout, it quickly regains its composure, and then departs towards the aftertaste, scattering umami and elegant richness.
The biggest characteristic is the gap between its appearance and taste.
It will repeatedly offer various surprises and lead you to a new world.
※Please check your mouth as Amagi can easily stain your mouth!
Natan Winery is an extremely small winery operated by female winemaker Ms. Namika Inoshita.
She previously worked as a sommelier, but wanting to know more about wine, she chose the path of winemaking and started making wine in Tokushima Prefecture in 2021.
Natan Winery's wines are "additive-free," "unfined," and "unfiltered," with minimal or no added sulfites.
Their philosophy is to bring out the individuality of each grape, without relying on additives, and to enhance the flavor using environmental resources such as temperature and gas.
They are dedicated to natural winemaking that allows you to experience the raw essence of the ingredients.
