This is an outstanding product with a delicate aroma and moist flavor.

・About the Bountiful Sake Prayer Ceremony Japanese people have cultivated a "culture of prayer and harvest" since ancient times, with a sense of reverence for the blessings of the seasons and nature. On February 17th, the first day of spring, a 24-year solar term, shrines across the country hold prayer festivals to pray for a good rice harvest. For sake brewers, the amount of rice harvested each year has a profound effect on the taste of the final product, sake.

In addition, Qingming, one of the twenty-four solar terms, is a seasonal word that means new buds, and is said to occur around April 5th. Around this time, preparations for rice planting begin all over the country. Rice planting ceremonies are held at the Imperial Palace and in rice fields all over the country, and rice planting finally begins.
A "Prayer Festival for a Good Harvest" is held on the Qingming Day of April 5th in hopes of a good harvest of rice, the raw material for the sake.
