When drunk on the rocks or straight, it has a pear-like flavor, when mixed with carbonated water it has a taste reminiscent of Muscat, and when mixed with hot water it has the texture of fluffy baked sweet potato. It's a shochu that changes its appearance in an amazing way, truly like a chameleon!
