The origin of the name ``Taiwan'' comes from the ``Taiwan'' that was worn by military officers who were successful in their careers to celebrate their future.
Taikan, a sake so named to match the celebration. Founded in the 10th year of the Meiji era , it has a history of more than 120 years.
The brewery is located in the Southern Alps, and in a clean environment, Yoshimitsu Kikuchi (Suwa Toji), who became a toji at the tender age of 32 , is brewing the gold award-winning sake 'Taikan Daiginjo'.
