The ultimate barley shochu created over 13 years, worthy of the name Ultra.
It is prepared using a traditional method passed down from ancient times on the island of Iki, the birthplace of barley shochu, with a ratio of 2/3 of rice malt and 1/3 of rice malt, and is finished by atmospheric pressure distillation using black malt and a coarse filtration finish.
After distillation, this authentic barley shochu is aged for over 13 years in tanks.
This shochu, with the theme of aging, brings out the flavor of rice malt, the aroma and caramel feel of brown sugar syrup, which is unique to Iki shochu, and the perfect marriage of the fragrant aroma of barley.
We pay special attention to the alcohol content, and after tasting the wine in 1-degree increments from 25 to 35 degrees, we set the best alcohol content at 27 degrees.
On the rocks, you can enjoy the straight, punchy flavor, and when mixed with hot water, you can enjoy the flavor that changes depending on the temperature range while bringing out the aroma.
