The first generation of Oishi Shuzo, "Oishi Chojiro," reportedly enjoyed drinking shochu while watching cranes that flew from Siberia to Akune at the time, and named the shochu he created "Tsurumi."

It has a rich sweet potato aroma and a gently expansive taste, leaving a deeply pleasant sweet potato flavor on the finish.
While enjoyable on the rocks or with water, it is especially recommended with hot water.
