“ W ” is a behind- the -scenes brand limited to exclusive stores that is popular in the Japanese sake industry.

Watanabe Sake Brewery's "W Series " is a limited quantity, made-to-order product brewed for carefully selected liquor stores that are responsible for the future of Japanese sake .
The “W” in the brand name represents three meanings: Watanabe , World , and Warai .

W ( W ) Throwback Hida Minori is made with wooden barrels and persimmon tannin dyed cotton.
It has a unique sweetness due to the effect of persimmon juice, and is a smooth, old-fashioned sake with a nice texture and smooth feel down the throat.

The “ W Series ” is a Junmai Daiginjo standard made by polishing the rice to 50 %, but it is labeled as Junmai Sake.
This is because we do not believe that reducing the size of rice milling or playing around with numbers will bring us closer to the essence of what the W series is aiming for.
