[Watarisee Farm & Winery Chardonnay 2023]

A wine with citrus fruit flavors and a gentle oak aroma

To maintain the quality of the grapes, harvesting begins after 3:00 a.m. and the grapes are cooled in a refrigerator after harvesting.
Cold grapes are placed whole bunches into a press to extract clean juice.

Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine is racked and aged in stainless steel tanks with fine lees for 6 months.
We also carry out malolactic fermentation.

It has a refreshing scent of white flowers and a taste that hints of nuts.

Watarise Farm & Winery is a small, family-run winery located in Watarise, Arima, Wakamatsu Ward, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, where grapes are planted in fields passed down from generation to generation and the wine is grown and brewed in-house.
