The unique aroma of this shochu, derived from wine yeast, is unique.
Mr. Uesako, Shibushi City, Kagoshima Prefecture, who makes the popular "Makoto no Imo" made by order, uses Kogane Sengan grown for this shochu, and uses normal pressure distillation to bring out the aroma of the potato.
We recommend mixing it with hot water to enjoy the unique scent! The taste of sweet potato stands out.
Of course, you can also enjoy it on the rocks or with soda.
