Enjoy gentle tannins and a pleasant acidity

Red grape varieties are fermented separately in stainless steel tanks, then aged for 8 months in old barrels.
After barrel aging, Riesling and macerated Pinot Gris are blended.

It has aromas of menthol, black pepper, and pencil lead, with a hint of red berries.
While the color is a bit dark, the tannins are not very pronounced, offering a pleasant acidity and an iron-like nuance on the finish.

Mizukake Distillery (Mizukake Winery) is a small winery that primarily cultivates Alsatian grape varieties at the foot of Mount Yatsugatake in Hara Village, Suwa District, Nagano Prefecture.
Since 2022, they have been producing white, rosé, and sparkling wines using their own grapes.
