Mizukake Brewery CLAIRET 2024 750ml [Refrigerated shipping recommended]
[Mizukake Winery CLAIRET 2024]
Enjoy gentle tannins and a pleasant acidity.
Each red varietal was fermented in stainless steel tanks, then aged for 8 months in old barrels.
After barrel aging, it was blended with Riesling and skin-contact Pinot Gris.
It has aromas of menthol, black pepper, and pencil lead, with a subtle hint of red berries.
While the color is a bit deep, the tannins are not overpowering, and you'll find a pleasant acidity and a lingering iron-like nuance on the finish.
