HIRAN W. Adams 720ml (refrigerated delivery recommended)
[HIRAN W. Adams]
Hiran's "Romantic journey through Hirado connecting the stars and the sea"
The sake that has been popularly known as "Asahiran" has been reborn as "HIRAN W. Adams," a sake that more deeply reflects the climate and story of Hirado.
This is a new challenge from Hiran, inspired by the historical romance of British navigator William Adams, who reached Hirado by following the stars.
The aroma is mild, with a fullness reminiscent of melon or pear, and when you put it in your mouth, a gentle gassy sensation spreads along with the quiet sparkle of the lees, reminiscent of the Milky Way stretching across the night sky.
The yeast used was Association No. 7.
This yeast brings out the starry sky-clear beauty and deep flavor, giving this sake a romantic and poetic quality.
The raw material used is Asahi rice, which has a light taste with few impurities and brings out a delicate flavor.
The rice is polished to a polishing ratio of 77%, which is not too polished, resulting in a moderate flavor and a clean finish, and the balance of sweetness and acidity that is characteristic of Hiran creates a solid structure.
Just as William Adams entrusted his wish to a star and set sail for foreign seas, HIRAN W. Adams will also become a special presence that gently accompanies the dreams and hopes of its drinker and adds a story to their everyday lives.
*This season, we have left a little more lees (rice) in the sake to represent the stars of the Milky Way twinkling in the night sky. As a result, you may notice a stronger gassy feeling than usual. This varies from sake to sake, but please enjoy it as part of the unique character of this sake.
