Domaine Chigatake Peau de Raisin 2024 750ml
Domaine Chigatake Peau de Raisin 2024
An approachable orange wine with structure
This wine uses late-harvest Koshu grapes, carefully cultivated in our own vineyards in Kaminoyama, Nirasaki City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
The grapes are gently pressed using a manual basket press. It is a blend of a Koshu wine made using only the clear juice, and an amber-colored wine fermented with the skins and seeds remaining after pressing, both from the same vintage.
When poured into a glass, it reveals a slightly hazy orange hue.
It offers refreshing aromas reminiscent of Japanese citrus, a gentle sweetness like ripe apples, and nutty undertones.
The palate is smooth, with a harmonious balance of vibrant acidity and fruit depth, leading to a pleasant, slightly bitter finish.
While structured, its approachable flavor pairs well with rich dishes such as fried foods, fish cooked with butter, and Chinese cuisine.
It is a wine that will beautifully enhance your dining experience.
