Tamagawa Mya series is very popular every time it is released.
Until now, it was only available in a 720ml size, but many fans have been clamoring for a one-sho size, so a 1800ml size has been released.
“Mya”, which is also the name of the sake, was named after Kinoshita Sake Brewery’s signboard cat.
It all began in 2008 when the brewer's daughter brought home a cat that had wandered around the brewery grounds.
Since then, for 14 years, it has welcomed visitors with its unusually cat-like friendliness, and has been very active as a beckoning cat.
The light taste with an alcohol content of 15 degrees goes well with a wide range of dishes, and can be enjoyed at a variety of temperatures, including chilled, room temperature, and hot.
