A popular bottle whose deliciousness can be enjoyed year by year, as the ratio of grape varieties changes annually.

The 2022 vintage is a pale ruby with transparent edges.
Aromas of ume plums, cherry jam, and licorice. The attack is gentle, with fresh fruit flavors of lingonberry and small berries supported by crisp acidity.

This red wine is best served slightly chilled.

Sakai Winery, founded in 1892, is the oldest winery in the Tohoku region.
Around 2007, they switched from conventional farming to pesticide-free grape cultivation in their own vineyards, and approximately 20 sheep are grazed in the fields for weeding.

They are committed to traditional winemaking rooted in the land, utilizing natural yeasts and microorganisms present in the soil, and continuing the non-filtered method without using filters, a practice since their founding.
