An ambitious work by the winery that expresses the terroir of Yamanashi
This wine is a blend of Muscat Bailey A from Katsunuma Town, at the foot of Mt. Kayagatake in Yamanashi Prefecture, and Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot from Akeno Town, aged in old French oak barrels. It is characterized by rich fruit flavors and soft tannins, expressing the climate of Yamanashi, which has high altitudes and is blessed with large temperature differences between day and night.
Using European grape varieties brings out a gorgeous aroma and rich fruit flavors.
It is characterized by a pure and concentrated fruit flavor with a light touch.
Its soft mouthfeel pairs well with food, making it suitable for Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines.
