The winery said, "Probably the best they've ever had."

It is made using Chenin Blanc from our own farm, aiming for a gentle taste that seeps into the body.
The skin is left in contact for three days, during which time the wine acquires hints of acetic acid.
Fermented in barrels, aged in barrels and then bottled.

The top notes are ripe fruit, honey and hints of small white flowers.
When you put it in your mouth, the thick, sweet liquid spreads across your tongue, and then you can taste the vanilla and nuts from the barrel.
The aftertaste is a mix of bitterness and umami.

To enjoy the full flavor of the liquid, please do not chill it too much.
