We rent whiskey barrels aged in Chichibu from the Chichibu Distillery, which is famous for its "Ichiro's Malt" and has had a long-standing relationship with Akari Shurui, to age our 100-year plum wine, which holds the title of the best in Japan.
The 100-year plum wine is aged for 12 months in barrels at the Chichibu Distillery.
Finally, by adding carefully selected malt whisky, the vanilla scent from the whiskey barrel and the complex, rich sweetness are expressed.
It has a rich aroma of whiskey barrels and plum wine, and a smooth texture.
When you put it in your mouth, it has an elegant and gentle sweetness, and although it has a rich taste, it is never too sweet and has a beautiful aftertaste.
