"Kohime" is the old local name for Delaware at Sakai Winery.
The long sur lie aging gives this dry Kohime a slightly darker color.
Please enjoy the rich fruitiness and crisp acidity of Delaware with your daily meals.
Sakai Winery, founded in 1892, is the oldest winery in Tohoku.
Around 2007, they switched from conventional farming methods to organic grape cultivation in their own vineyards, and they now graze about 20 sheep in the fields for weeding.
They are committed to making wine rooted in the land, using natural yeasts and microorganisms present in the soil, and continuing traditional methods such as the non-filtered production method without using a filter, which they have used since their establishment.
