This sake is a Junmai Daiginjo sake, but we have chosen to release it as Junmai sake, in order to allow our customers to easily enjoy the deliciousness and flavor of rice.

Watanabe Sake Brewery's "W Series " is a limited edition, made-to-order product brewed for select liquor stores that represent the future of Japanese sake .
The "W" in the brand name stands for three things: Watanabe Sake Brewery , World , and Warai .

W Akita Sake Komachi is a feminine delicacy with a soft fragrance reminiscent of rich, lustrous white peach and an excellent balance of sweetness and elegance.
It has a refined sweetness and a clean, light aftertaste.

The " W Series " is a Junmai Daiginjo sake made from rice polished to 50 %, but is labeled as Junmai sake.
This is because we do not believe that polishing the rice more finely or fiddling with numbers will bring us any closer to the essence of what the W Series is aiming for.
