Made with high-quality Chardonnay that would normally be used for a premium cuvée

All of the Chardonnay grapes harvested in 2021 were of such high quality that they would normally be used for a premium cuvée.

From the countless winemaking options available, we chose to ensure that the unique characteristics of this neutral-flavored varietal were not overpowered by other elements.
We separated the juice based on ripeness and pressing pressure for fermentation, then adjusted the blend to mellow out any prominent impressions.

It has a bright, lustrous yellowish-green color, with gentle layers of la France pear, banana, and white peach in the initial aroma.
In the mouth, a generous and rounded acidity and flavor spread smoothly, leaving a refreshing aftertaste without any lingering heaviness.

This is a rare wine for Woody Farm, with a subtle character that leaves a lasting impression.

WOODY FARM & WINERY has two sides: a domaine winery that produces wine solely from grapes grown in its own vineyards at the foot of Mount Zao in Yamagata, and an orchard dedicated to cultivating high-quality fruits.
The grapes are grown with organic reduced-pesticide methods (Yamagata Prefecture certified special cultivation), and the history of expressing what can only be done in this land through fruit cultivation is what Woody Farm is today.
