Fresh fruitiness and supple acidity

A pale yellow with a slight haze.
A rich and refreshing aroma spreads, with toasty notes from yeast, quince-like, fresh yellow fruits reminiscent of apricot, muscat, fresh mint, and citronella (lemongrass).

The palate is mellow, with a good balance of fresh fruitiness and supple acidity, and you can enjoy a clean finish.

Sakai Winery is the oldest winery in Tohoku, founded in 1892.
Around 2007, they switched from conventional farming to pesticide-free grape cultivation in their own vineyards, and about 20 sheep are released into the fields for weeding.

They are committed to making wine rooted in the land, using natural yeasts and microorganisms present in the soil, and adhering to traditional methods such as the non-filter method, which does not use a filter, a practice they have maintained since their founding.
