"Kohime" is the old local name for Delaware grapes used by Sakai Winery.
"Awa" is a lightly sparkling wine with a hint of sweetness.

Sakai Winery, founded in 1892, is the oldest winery in Tohoku.
Around 2007, they switched from conventional farming to pesticide-free grape cultivation in their own vineyards, and about 20 sheep are pastured in the fields for weeding.

They are committed to traditional winemaking rooted in the land, utilizing natural yeasts and microorganisms present in the soil, and employing a non-filtered production method without using filters, which they have maintained since their establishment.
