Uses high-quality Chardonnay that would normally be considered a premium cuvée

All of the Chardonnay harvested in 2021 was made from high-quality grapes that would normally be considered premium cuvées.

Of the countless brewing options available, we chose this one to avoid overpowering the neutral flavor profile of the variety.
The juice is separated based on ripeness and pressing pressure and brewed separately, then blended to give the wine a milder flavor.

It has a bright, shiny yellow-green color and the top aroma has gentle gradations of pear, banana, and white peach.
The impression of a generous, rounded acidity and flavor spreads naturally in the mouth, and the aftertaste is refreshing and leaves no dull impression.

This is a rare woody wine that has a more subdued, lingering aftertaste.

WOODY FARM & WINERY has two faces: a domaine winery that makes wine using only grapes grown in its own fields at the foot of Mt. Zao in Yamagata, and an orchard dedicated to cultivating high-quality fruit.
The grapes are grown organically using reduced amounts of pesticides (specially cultivated as certified by Yamagata Prefecture), and Woody Farm's current form is a reflection of its journey to express through its fruit trees what is possible only in this land.
