Kyoko Hosaka, a grower and brewer, returned to Yamanashi Prefecture in 2016 after working as a food coordinator and producing restaurants and other food and wine-related jobs.
He received a bachelor's degree in wine science from the University of Yamanashi, and was engaged in wine analysis, research assistance, and winemaking at the Yamanashi Prefectural Wine Center.
We started growing grapes in 2016, and since we don't have a brewery yet, we are preparing to open a winery in our hometown of Nirasaki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and are making wine through contract brewing at Domaine Hide and Miyo Jozo.
Good wine comes from good grapes. Based on this belief, we aim to use 100% of our own grapes, and aim to do everything from raw materials to winemaking.
