The "QUINCE" in the product name means "15" in Spanish.
The name was chosen because it is finished with an alcohol content of 15%.

The province of Ise has been known as a rice-producing region since the Heian period, and has developed a culture of sake brewing.
Since its founding in 1854, Kankobai Sake Brewery has been honing its sake-making skills here.
Kankobai sake is brewed by hand using carefully selected rice and clear water.
Since most of the processes are still done by hand, we are only able to produce a limited amount each year.
