Smooth texture and heavy body born from a warm aging environment

Osaki Town, located on the Osumi Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture, where Hishida Distillery is situated, is also known as the "Florida of Japan" due to its warm climate. Under these rare conditions, sufficient barrel aging effects can be achieved even in a short period.

This is the first single malt release from Hishida Distillery's NEW BORN series, which was previously a simple blend of malt and grain.

The rich sweetness derived from Pedro Ximenez sherry casks envelops the entire palate, with aromas of dried fruit and brown sugar spreading. The powerful barrel notes (vanilla, honey, caramel) resulting from aging in a warm climate are strongly felt, harmonizing with tropical fruit elements. A deep finish reminiscent of dark chocolate and Earl Grey lingers.

Upon tasting, a rich and full-bodied sweetness spreads, with aromas derived from sherry casks reminiscent of dark chocolate and raisins. A subtle bitterness and tea-like aroma add depth, harmonizing with youthful vigor and a woody finish from the oak barrels.
