This is the standard-bearer wine from the Winemaking Research Institute, crafted from Yamanashi-grown Koshu grapes through various careful brewing methods, then expertly blended to bring out the unique characteristics of each.
After careful clarification of the juice, it is fermented at low temperatures with two types of yeast. Wines with a refreshing citrus aroma and a vibrant, full-bodied tropical fruit character are blended, and aged Koshu wine is added to create a complex and profound flavor profile.
A citrus aroma reminiscent of lemon and kabosu is intertwined with elegant notes of pear and osmanthus. On the palate, a juicy fruitiness like mandarin orange spreads, followed by a clear taste and a long, gentle, and pleasant finish.
The "ST" in the wine's name stands for "Standard." This wine genuinely expresses the charm of Koshu grapes and is a perfect companion for your dining table.
